The PECB Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) training course enables you to develop the competence to lead an organization's information security program at the executive level. This course covers information security governance, strategy development, program management, risk management, regulatory compliance, security architecture, operations management, and executive communication. You will learn to align security programs with business objectives, manage security budgets, lead security teams, and communicate effectively with boards and senior leadership. Day 2: Security Program and Risk Management
Security program management and roadmapping; enterprise risk management; risk appetite and tolerance; regulatory and legal compliance landscape; and third-party risk management.
Day 3: Security Architecture and Operations
Enterprise security architecture; security technology evaluation; operations management; security monitoring and metrics; and emerging technology risks (cloud, AI, IoT).
Day 4: Leadership, Communication, and Budget Management
Executive communication and board reporting; security culture development; team leadership and talent management; budget planning and justification; and incident communication and crisis management.
Day 5: Certification Exam
Review of key concepts and the PECB Certified Chief Information Security Officer certification examination.
