Accessibility Statement

SEQ SIA is committed to making OffSeq Training usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, navigate by keyboard, magnify the screen, or need reduced motion.

Conformance status

This website is partially conformant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, and with EN 301 549 clause 9. “Partially conformant” means some content does not yet fully meet the standard. The known gaps are listed below rather than glossed over.

What works today

• A “Skip to content” link is the first item in the tab order on every page.
• The site is operable by keyboard alone, including the course tabs, the FAQ accordion, the mobile menu and the enrolment dialog.
• The enrolment dialog and mobile menu keep focus inside while open, close with Escape, and return focus to the control that opened them.
• Every form field has a visible label, including the course search box. In the enrolment form each error is linked to the field it belongs to and announced by assistive technology; the contact form reports its errors in a single announced message rather than per field.
• The number of matching courses is announced when you search, filter or sort the catalogue, and the search box keeps focus and your cursor position as you type.
• Course descriptions, objectives, prerequisites, the module agenda and exam details are all present in the page, not hidden behind a script that must run first.
• The site honours the operating-system “reduce motion” setting.

Known limitations

We are aware of the following and are working on them.

1. Moving content. The promotional countdown updates every second and has no pause control. The testimonial carousel can be paused.
2. Payment confirmation page. This page is rendered in the browser. If JavaScript does not run, the confirmation does not appear. Your payment is unaffected and you always receive a confirmation email.
3. Long course titles. Each course card is a single link whose announced name includes the full card content, which makes it long to listen to.
