Course Modules
Day 1: Introduction to ISO 55001 and Asset Management Fundamentals
Asset management concepts and terminology; the ISO 55000 family of standards (ISO 55000, 55001, 55002); value realization from assets; asset management principles; relationship between asset management, organizational objectives, and risk management; and the asset management system framework.
Day 2: AMS Requirements, Lifecycle Management, and Certification Exam
ISO 55001 requirements overview (clauses 4-10); asset management policy and strategic asset management plan (SAMP); asset lifecycle management (acquisition, operation, maintenance, disposal); performance evaluation; continual improvement; and the Foundation certification exam.
