Backup strategies and architectures; data replication technologies; cloud-based DR; hybrid recovery approaches; and high-availability design.
Day 3: DR Plan Development and Documentation
Plan documentation standards; runbook development; communication procedures; resource planning; and vendor coordination.
Day 4: Testing, Exercises, and Recovery Operations
Test types and methodologies; tabletop and simulation exercises; full failover testing; incident declaration procedures; recovery execution; and post-incident review.
Day 5: Certification Exam
Review of key concepts and the PECB Certified Lead Disaster Recovery Manager certification examination.
