Course Modules
Day 1: ISO/IEC 27002 Framework and Organizational Controls
Introduction to ISO/IEC 27002:2022; control attributes and taxonomy; the 4 control themes (organizational, people, physical, technological); organizational controls including policies, roles, threat intelligence, and asset management.
Day 2: People, Physical, and Technological Controls
People controls (screening, awareness, remote working); physical controls (perimeters, equipment, storage media); technological controls (access rights, authentication, cryptography, secure development, logging, and monitoring).
Day 3: Control Implementation, Monitoring, and Certification Exam
Control implementation planning; risk-based control selection; Statement of Applicability alignment; control effectiveness measurement; continual improvement of security controls; and the Manager certification exam.
